Term 3 Reflection

I had fun at this term. The projects that we made at science like the 2 storage building, the cylinder  thing and the wind mill. I thought our building will collapse for the first minute but it stands with a 5 sand bags in a major earthquake! I Think any building can collapse when an asteroid hit it! It's a miracle if a building stands by its own with a heavy sands bags and an asteroid hit it! But that's a good building for me.

Science:

I didn't done a great job on the wind mill thing cause of lack of time to finish it. But I love our structure ..

The cylinder 

I don't know how can I explain at our cylinder. It can just handle 4 science text books and after that, it collapse.

Social Studies:

Now, the Island project( Batman:Arkham Island)

Our Island was nice( drawing )  ( cause I made it. Joke!) and our presentation was terrible! There some details that are missing and some are to dumb.. But over all, it's funny and entertaining. I think

Math: 

Math lessons are getting harder and harder. Now we are on algebra. And some of the equations are hard and challenging. But I love challenges since I've studied here. Sometimes, I really, REALLY need help.

Novel Study:

The Asked and The Answer was so awesome! I wish I can read the 3rd book :(  I wanna know what's coming. What will Todd and Viola do. What will happen after the war. What will happen DURING the war. Is Viola dead or alive? And for my final response, I'll sketch a poster, a movie poster. I have a little difficulty of finding the cast and staff.

Field Trips:

I've enjoyed our field trips mostly the VIRTICLE ADVENTURES. I've climbed 8 walls and I've finished 6 of them. 

I've really enjoyed the Term 3

Even though this term was the busiest part of the year, I've really enjoyed it.. But I had a really hard time on speaking in English. 

MY GOALS:

- I will do my best to learn how to speak in English PROPERLY.

- Learn to cooperate

- be nice

- need to make my grade higher

Bullying

This is a 3 mins video... I chose this video because it shows how the bullies treat the victim.. It shows how the victim is really affected and the words that the bully told to victim is stuck at the victim's head...  That's why she commit suicide... And they didn't even think about the victim's feelings

Reflection:Mean Girls

The play shows how the mean girls bully Cady's friend and how Regina ruins Cady's friend life. Cady became one of the mean girls. Before, she is just an ordinary girl from Africa but when she became friends with the mean girls, she've changed. She act like them.. She  lied to her parents. Cady was spying the mean girls and informed Janis and plan for their next move. They want to have a revenge.  And another lesson is not good to have a revenge to someone...

Youth Peace Building Group

 

Our Youth Peace Building Group was giving us some activities... Every week, we are going at the library and some of our class are staying at our room...They give us games and they communicate with us properly... They help us to understand some things.... They let us choose our activities... I like some of there games..... Paige and Hope are one of the members of Youth Peace Building Progam.... today(April 11,2013) We played the tarp game, the yarn game and silent ball.. I had a little bit of fun....

The Knife of Never Letting Go Revierw

           The Chaos Walking, The Knife of Never Letting Go...
This book is all about a boy named Todd Hewitt and his dog Manchee... They live at Prentisstown with his parents Ben and Cillian. Todd is becoming a man next month but Mayor Prentiss is going after him.... They try to escape from him.... Todd have are his ma's book, the rucksack and the knife... They travel at the swamp until they saw this girl... This girl has the silence.... They travel with this girl and and try to escape Aaron.. they reach the bridge... That's the day when the girl spoke.... She said She's Viola... After that, They rest for a while and they met Hildy and Tam... Until Hildy brought them on Farbranch... The people from Farbrach was from New Elizabeth(Old Name for Prentisstown) but the Mayor reach the Farbranch and he brings the army with him... Hildy and his sister Francia Tries to stop the army.... Todd and Viola escape and run... They need to go to Haven....
I like this book.... This book is so exciting and has the shocking revelations... The author detailed  characters very well...It's like the author expirience what Todd expirience at the book.... I wanna start the 2nd book and I don't wanna miss every detailed of the story... I wish I'm still here when the 3rd book start.... The dialogs were very understandable for me... Overall, I'll give this book a 5 out of 5.... I really like it... You don't know what will happen next... And the history of Prentisstown was very unbelievable....

Term 2 Reflection and Goals

Term 2 Reflection and Goals

             This term was fun for my 1st term here in this school.... First, I will start to reflect. Some of the ELA things that we do... The Novel Study was exciting! some chapters are sad... some are enjoying and some are making me excited to read the other chapter and excited to know what's coming next.... I wish I can read the next book...

          The Lit Circle was fun... I became close to my classmates... They make funny things and they makes me laugh.... They do their best in doing their jobs in time.... They help me to communicate with them.... They help me know themselves more.... They make my school days fun.... I wish I became closer to all of my classmates....

      Second, some of the Math. I know already the order of operations since I'm in the Philippines.... But when we discuss the order of operations again, it refresh my mind about that topic... Sometimes I'm having some mistakes on that topic but I review it after.... I experience some difficulties about the PEMDAS with a touch of integers....

       The Mental Math helps me to solve mentally.... It helps me do Math solving easily.... At first... I can't understand how to do it... When its time to answer it,To be honest, I think it's to easy to answer.... But the Mental Math now is more exciting than before...

      Third, some topic about Science...   The Science that we are doing now is about Rocks... Rocks is part of the Earth's crust... The topic about rocks help me to know about the types/kinds of rocks... It helps me to identify types of rocks...

        Fourth, other areas that we do.... The Exploratory. Exploratory helps me to develop some of my artistic skills like drawing.... It helps me to know more about drawing...

             My goals are......

Rambling Autobiography

     I was born on 27th of April 1999 and when Walter Lantz, the one who create the woody                                                            woodpecker, was born..... and April 25 1999, my grandmother died.... I even didn't see her face in personal.... I remember when I was a kid, me and my friends are used to play marbles.... I always cry when I loose... but I'm not giving up.... but in the end I win!!!!!

A past years ago I have a gold fish a dog and a bird..... I love them so much.. I them. I'm giving a bath to our dog and letting my bird fly outside of our house. Cause our bird is a smart type of bird... It will stay first to our house for the few days after you can let it fly. One day I let my bird fly and I know it will return but I let it fly at 12:00 in the afternoon but its 6:00 in the evening already but it is not returning yet.. I have a feeling that my pets is in danger.... and my feelings are correct! It has been caught by other people. I miss my Bird:((((((

I am very nervous when I get here in Canada..... I'm not o good in English but I can understand them... the same as when I go in Elwick Community School.... when its my first day in school, I'm very nervous if I'll have a friend or I can answer the questions of the teacher but when the times pass by, I realize that there are no things to be scared of...... now I have some friends....
